Mount Snow Named Final Stop of 09/10 Winter Dew Tour
Mark your calendars. The Winter Dew Tour, the world’s premier season-long winter action sports tour, announced that Mount Snow Resort in West Dover, VT, will host the third and final stop Feb. 4-7, 2010 of the Tour’s second season. The Winter Dew Tour showcases top winter athletes from around the world competing in freeskiing (slopestyle and superpipe) and snowboarding (slopestyle and superpipe) for both men and women. Mount Snow is a host resort for the second consecutive year on the Winter Dew Tour, which had its inaugural season in 2008-09.
All three stops of the Winter Dew Tour will be televised Live on NBC, with additional coverage on USA Network and MTV2.
“Mount Snow is thrilled to welcome the Winter Dew Tour back after a first year that exceeded our expectations,” Kelly Pawlak, Mount Snow General Manager.
“It was amazing to compete in my hometown and on my favorite mountain last year,” Kelly Clark, 2008-09 Snowboard Superpipe Dew Cup champion.
